I had the great good fortune to star opposite Don Knotts in this heartwarming comedy. I played an extremely independent blind girl who falls in love with a meek school teacher (Don) who has come to live in the home she shares with her grandmother, played by a wonderful British actress named Emma Trekman. The student was hilariously portrayed by Bob Frank. Though only a small cast of four characters, the piece had audiences howling one minute, and crying, the next. The role of "Julie" in this production is probably my very favorite.
